- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar.
- Complementary training in Safety, Hygiene and Environment.
- Superior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 and 45001 standards.
- Minimum 5 years previous experience performing the functions described.
- Good level of English.
- Responsible, planned and organized person accustomed to analyzing and solving problems.
Responsibilities
Your functions will be:
- Coordinate and support the environmental activities of the plant.
- Control and evaluate emissions to the atmosphere, solid waste and wastewater treatment.
- Ensure the implementation of procedures and monitoring of the safety and hygiene and environmental policy.
- Guarantee the conformity of the equipment and individual protections with respect to the regulations.
- Implement an integrated environmental management system, where safety and quality are in solidarity with the best available technologies.
- Participate in the definition of new industrial equipment and development of new products to integrate safety, hygiene and environmental regulations.
- Prepare reports on the environmental and preventive conditions of the company.
- Propose and defend improvements in order to reduce incidents and their severity.
- Establish criteria for the development of sustainable waste management.
- Carry out the risk assessment and provide measures to control and reduce them.
- Manage the occupational risk prevention plan and ensure its compliance.
- Manage the training plan.
- Coordinate actions in emergency and first aid cases.
- Comply with and ensure the correct manufacturing, safety and environmental standards of the chemical process.
- Ensure the correct execution of the regulatory inspections.
- Prepare and update the tools and documentation of the system.
- Monitor the placement of prevention plans and protocols at strategic locations and their application.
- Sensitize staff so that measures are applied at all levels.
- Train and control the activity of workers through pollution prevention programs and activities.
